Here’s What You Need to Know 

Why you need tallow in your life:

Our mission is to simplify skincare by offering high-quality, natural products crafted from whole ingredients. We strive to offer straightforward, effective solutions that cut through the noise of complex skincare routines and are committed to keeping our offerings free from unnecessary fluff. Our products feature simple, easy-to-read ingredients that are recognizable to the everyday family. We believe in providing a one-product solution for the skin, with minimal steps— apply once or twice a day and experience the benefits for yourself. 

Tallow is derived from the rendering of beef suet (fat). We ensure the purest end product with our method of double rendering our tallow in salt and distilled water. Tallow is extremely compatible with the composition of our human skin with its bioavailable vitamins A,D K, and is considered non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog pores). Tallow provides natural skin barrier support and promotes radiant looking skin by improving skin’s texture. With consistent use, tallow is protective against the elements and environmental stressors that contribute to dry, chapped skin. A little bit goes a long way!

Does tallow skincare require special storage?

These are 100% natural and handmade products so consistency and scent may vary slightly. Our products remain at the right consistency at room temperature and are shelf stable for upwards to 12 months in this state. The tallow may firm up or soften in shipping depending on temperature. Working the tallow onto the skin always helps to soften its application. 

Our products do have added vitamin E to help preserve, however it is recommended to keep your tallow in a dark, cool place. Spoiling can occur if moisture (water) gets into the tallow jar, be sure to always use clean dry hands when reaching for your tallow product.

We’ve all heard the saying “you are what you eat”. Driven by a passion for heath and wellness, our expansion into edible cooking tallow is one that deeply aligns with our values. We wanted to make a healthy consumable product that is convenient and supports intentional choices . Each tin reflects our dedication to high-quality ingredients and provides a versatile, flavourful option for enhancing your cooking. 

Cook with it: Tallow has a high smoke point making it ideal for searing meats , frying vegetables and deep frying. Our Fat Bombs are portioned for a user friendly experience in swapping in tallow for everyday use. 

Final touch: Spoon tallow spread (Predator)over cooked meat, allow it to rest and absorb the flavours before serving.

Our Policies 

Shipping:
We ship across Canada & the U.S. Orders are processed in 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking as soon as your package heads out!

Returns:
Due to the nature of our products (and hygiene laws), all sales are final. That said — if something isn’t right, email us and we’ll do our best to make it right. We’re a small biz with a big heart.

Damages or Issues:
If your order arrives damaged or missing something, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We’ll take care of it!

Local Pickup + Delivery:
Live near Cold Lake? Select “Local Pickup” at checkout and we’ll email you when your order is ready (pickup at The Maple Hub Boutique in Cold Lake North across from Mamacita's, hours are subject to change please check their IG @maplehubcommunity).
Alternatively, we offer local delivery doorstep drop off for $5 at checkout!
